American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting- Dr. Sterrer

Dr. Jordan Sterrer, another of our Cataract and Refractive Surgeons here at EMG, also attended the American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting in Chicago.  In addition to seminars on cataract surgery, as well as refractive surgery, Dr. Sterrer was excited to attend meetings about dry eye.  Dr. Sterrer has been running a dry eye clinic in our office every other Thursday since August, so the dry eye seminar was beneficial in helping build our own dry eye clinic here at Eyecare Medical Group.  In fact, Dr. Sterrer was proud to report that we obtained serum from our first patient last week to use as autologous tears for a cutting edge treatment of severe dry eyes!
