Optometrists Detect Early Vision Problems Though InfantSEE Program.
The South Bend (IN) Tribune (7/25, Dukes) reported that the InfantSEE program helps optometrists detect vision problems early in small children. The program, which was begun by the American Optometric Association's charity, the AOA Foundation, "provides free comprehensive eye and vision assessments to infants between the ages of six...and 12 months." The program provides babies with a thorough, in-depth evaluation designed to catch problems with refractive error and eye motility.
